Let me start in a declaration, I believe in aliens. I believe they were here and some are what we know as “Gods” and I believe we’ll see them (not specific specie) in the (hope) near future. But when I see (actually, hear , but that’s a different story) History Channel Ancient Aliens, my mind goes nuclear.
Let’s start with the premise, Aliens were here in the past to guide mankind, maybe help build some monuments like the pyramids. Basically, it’s might seems logical, until one actually watch the entire series so far (17 seasons for now) and you get yourself a mixup of ideas, some are opposite to one another and some just don’t make any sense at all.
The origin of the human race, for example is in one episode we come from Mars which had nuclear explosion on it, and of course, we came without any technology. Make sense, if you’re high on drugs. In another episode we come from the Pleiades, or Orion’s Belt, depends on the episode. In some episodes the Gods came from the Pleiades or Orion’s Belt or Mars or the unknown planet at the edge of our solar system. But let’s go back the mankind here.
In a different episode, humans were created by millions of years of evolution with the building blocks brought here by an astroid, actually make sense, until they claim the astroid was of course launched by aliens. But again, mankind was also created by a God or Gods, every religion with its creation stories. And again, they mix it all up and Earth is actually an alien lab and mankind was genetically engineered by aliens. So, did we came from Mars or other planet without any technology? Are we genetically engineered to be slaves or whatever? What are we? It’s all depend on which episode you watch.
Another example, the pyramids in Egypt, in one episode they are power plants, or storage devices or alien energy. In other episode they are temples for the Gods from Orion’s Belt, in other episode they are sort of a factory to create Gold. There are at least six claims for the pyramids, some different claims in the same episode. Oh, of course, Aliens.
There is much to discuss about aliens, there are still many unknowns in our planet and history, but please, don’t tell me every single unknown thing must be aliens. Albert Einstein, Leonardo De Vince, Nicole Tesla, were connected somehow to aliens which gave them instruction/genetically manipulated/kidnapped by aliens! They couldn’t just be talented people, it must be aliens!
There is so much bullshit in the show, and I fear that our (well, your) kids might become overwhelmed with stupidity. A very serious subject is getting “owned” by bunch of self adoring clowns, without any logic in it. The least they could do is to create a one, single, coherent theory. But they have so many, and all of them must be true (according to the participants) and they all must be aliens.
I don’t know where we came from, I’m Agnostic so I don’t know if there’s a God or Gods. And I do believe we had encounters in the past. But come on, not every single thing is ALIENS! This show, is complete bullshit, probably created as a joke on the subject and went on from there. There is no way in hell the participants of this show believe all their theories are realistic with several explanations for each topic and every explanation must be the right one and everything is explainable by aliens.
Please, don’t watch this show. It will poison your brain. Don’t let your kids watch it, don’t let your cats (or dogs) watch it for the lolz of it. Maybe the creators are aliens who came here to make the subject look stupid, paranoid, incoherent and just plain old strange. Explain that Mr. Giorgio! Ha, you can’t I said the magic word!
Riley Black from The Smithsonian Magazine wrote an article back in 2012, but it’s still very, very relevant. Ancient Aliens never got better, it got much worse.
TL;DR
Ancient Aliens is pure shit full of conspiracy theories where everything and anything is aliens. This show should be taken off the air. History Channel, it’s your reputation. Right now, they’re together with Flat Earthers and Anti-Vaccination.
