Let’s dance, in Burgundy style! WoW, this is a fun one. Very lively and clear, not very challenging to play, but extremely fun.

I’m not sure about this one, I either performed it wrong or it’s just plain…strange (not sure about that too), so please tell me what you think and I’ll take your advices. Saying that, this is a really nice Recercar to play and study, like most of Dalza’s compositions.
Enjoy!
Another beautiful piece, also know as Pavane. Only heard it once in a Facebook lute group before trying to playing it myself and it’s not only beautiful, but really fun to play. I really hope that one day I’ll be able to play these dances with other people.

This is a beautiful, beautiful fantasy and one of the first pieces I learned in the days before time. There’s so much to love in this small piece, there’s the start, the voices, the suspensions and of course, the final cadence which concludes it all in a very simple and elegant way. This one is a timeless and I hope you all agree with me. Lute by James Marriage (2006) after Hans Frei.
As always, please leave you comments below, I know about the bright light, that one you can ignore. I am working on a ways (not in software) to improve it and the video recording as a whole, it’s a mission and I’m not planning on upgrading my video equipment.
Also a reminder, please visit my store, I’m offering new engravings every week and you can request a custom one.
In retrospective, perhaps a faster tempo. But what is done cannot be undone, unless I record it again 😛 Lute by James Marriage (2006) after Hans Frei
Also, I’m thinking of switching to twice-a-month upload schedule for better time management, it’s quite hard for me to move between working on the album, recording for YouTube, and keep my mental health in check. On one hand, recoding to YouTube makes me really happy, on the other it also takes a lot of time and effort. I haven’t made a final decision yet, so your opinion matters.
